Jan 29, 2019 from Scratch LIVE 2 / DJ and on. Serato Scratch LIVE and DJ users can now play and scratch tracks faster with this custom designed keyboard cover. Each button is color coded to take advantage of Scratch LIVE and DJ’s extensive keyboard shortcuts for both the left and right decks including control and alt key combinations. Dec 13, 2005 On the keyboard shortcuts front, I'd like a shortcut for gain adjustment (individual sides & master), having to use the mouse is a pain. And for people who don't like the defaults, I successfully used a keyboard remapper program to assign my own shortcuts. I have F1 & F2 as assign to left and right, and F3 & F4 as clear left and right. Left-Click-Hold anywhere on waveform and drag left/right. Change musical key format (classical, Camelot, and Open key) Mouse & Keyboard. Alt + Click on key value. Zoom into source waveform. Scroll wheel up and down.
The table below shows a list of all the latest keyboard shortcuts that you can use with Serato DJ to access some of the features in the software a bit faster and make your life easier.

A personal favourite around the office is control + Z. This is used to undo the latest track load which is good if you load a track to the wrong deck or eject a track accidentally. If you are using REL or ABS mode when using turntables or CDJ's, pressing control + Z will load the previous track and continue to play it from its original position when you accidentally ejected. This has saved a couple of lives for sure.
